historic plantation town of Paia, just 15 minutes from

the last town on the road to Hana, will find a young and
spirited beach community with an interesting and

HANA Tucked
away on the isolated coast of east Maui, Hana
remains geographically aloof and serene in its
splendid isolation. Visitors to this remote Hawaiian

in completing the 52-mile-long twisting, turning,
and cliff-edge journey from Kahului that can take
three hours or more depending upon the number of
"beauty" stops taken along the way. When the sign

LAHAINA / MAALAEA Much of
