KAHANA VILLAGE It's unusual to see condominiums in our collection, and that's just because so few, in our opinion, have that off-the-beaten-path appeal. We're pleased to say we consider these low-key, tastefully furnished two- and three-bedroom beach houses at Kahana to be a real "find."  Situated on a picturesque, reef-protected sandy cove, the apartments are equipped with full kitchen (including dishwasher), washer/dryer, TV/VCR, telephone, and private lanai, offering a delightful view of the neighbor islands. We prefer the second-level 1200 sq. ft. two-bedroom/two-bath apartments with skylights and high-beamed ceilings.

There is good snorkeling here, but reef shoes are recommended. Other amenities include beach-side swimming pool, jacuzzi, and barbecue. Five-night minimum stay. Favorable rates for two persons or during off season. Ocean View: $205-$320; Ocean Front: $240-$435. Each add'l person over 4, $20. $25 Booking Fee.

For best selection, we recommend reservations 3 or 4 months in advance; 6 months or more for winter holidays.
